Welcome to the pages of The Senoi Story. Here you will learn about the indigenous peoples of West Malaysia called the SENOI, and in particular, the two largest ethnic groups, the Semais and the Temiars. Their homeland stretches over the central mountain range of the Peninsula with its numerous river valleys. They are very much forest-dependent in their lifestyle and traditions and today they face many challenges from outside pressures on the way of life which they have inherited from thousands of years ago from their ancestors.
