Bawaaj, pig-tailed macaque, a pest to swiddeners.

Jʹkʉʉs, the brush-tailed porcupine, is a sabat taboo species.
Hayom, bamboo rat, is believed to turn into a short python in a bamboo clump.
Dɛddut, the greater coucal, often squaks in the mornings.
Həlaŋ, rhinocerous hornbill, often seen in pairs - this one died in a fight.
Bʹrawɛl, emerald dove.
Short python are eaten by the Semais, but the Temiars find them repulsive creatures.
Green racer, eaten by Semais.
Kʹdííg ˀaŋaaɲ, which is red-breasted, is a sabat taboo species.
Sɛgnug ˀaŋkuuy, an edible river frog that has toxic skin, and the meat can cause one to vomit if improperly cooked.
Tabɛɛg, the bull frog, is a sabat creature particularly dangerous for women and children to eat.
Kʹrɛlbool, the pill millipede, a remedy for infant stomach pain.
Kɛŋkax, horned toad, its eggs are a cure for a cold.
Kapur, lime, chewed with betel nut, was made by cooking snail shells and pounding into paste.
